Selected work and Projects

I worked with the leadership team at Venturi to build a content lead generation funnel for their IT recruitment business. My primary role was podcast production which encompassed everything from sourcing guests, preparing the episodes, recording them and then launching and post launch promo for the shows. Check out one of my shows below.

While at Passion.io I built out their SEO channel from the ground up. I worked with their senior business leaders and championed the importance of SEO in the digital marketing eco system. While at Passion.io I achieved the following:

  • Developed an organic visitor acquisition strategy generating 6,721 new site visitors (39.68% of total new visitors) through non-branded keyword targeting and content optimization
  • Increased our site’s acquisition of organic visitors from 11.1% of total traffic to 30%.
  • Ran email marketing CRM campaign and was responsible for producing captivating and sales focused email ad copy.

I’ve developed and implemented SEO strategy for a number of enterprise clients at Wavemaker including: Compare the Market, MoneySuperMarket, Bupa,Channel 5 and Heathrow Airport and Heathrow Express. I’ve added some highlights from these clients below.

  • Built three strategic content hubs for the Heathrow Express site (journey planning, sightseeing, competitor comparison) generating 113.3K additional clicks in 2025 (journey planning: 74.3K, sightseeing: 16.7K, competitor comparison: 22.3K).
  • Led cross-functional paid/organic optimisation project, identifying £117K in potential cost savings through improved channel strategy.
  • Developed LLM optimization methodology and reporting framework, achieving 45% Share of Voice for Heathrow Parking and 22% for Heathrow Express.
  • Led team of 5 SEO executives delivering 160 content briefs for MoneySuperMarket; trained and mentored SEO executive on Heathrow account in SEO strategy and content optimization.

Between 2018 and 2026 I built and managed my own Manchester music blog, All My Friends. This involved me creating content, outreaching to guests for mixes, producing a podcast and running events. Through the platform I was able to network with other DJs and promoters throughout Manchester which in turn secured me more gigs and partnership opportunities.

The blog is retired now but i continue to produce music, DJ and run my club night Room2Move.

The site is still live to house all the mixes and podcasts I did. You can check it out here.

I had the pleasure of working with Liam on Marketing and Content Strategy for Venturi. It was great to see Liam in action really owning projects and bringing everything to life! Liam is consultative in his approach, certainly creative and his ability to scope out and resolve problems quickly, protecting timescales and budgets, making all the processes very easy to navigate. Venturi jumped on the podcast trend pretty early and to say Liam was all over this was an understatement! A results-driven marketeer doesn’t begin to cover everything he did for us!
